Our company cuts a shine with its R&D studies and patent about the technology known as "hydrocarbon fingerprinting" in technical literature. JeoTim is the unique independent implementer and developer of this technology in our country.
Simplest definition of "hydrocarbon anomaly modelling" can be made as the detection and interpretation of light hydrocarbon leakages and its analog gases rising from undreground in the exploration area. Due to the low level leakage as ppm or less, the detection and interpretation necessitates expertise and qualified equipments. This technology is the cheapest and most efficient one between the surface research methods for petroleum&natural gas exploration studies, and its most basic advantages are;
- Saving from surface survey/exploration costs up to 42%
- The time allocated for surface studies can be reduced to rates 1/3 with respect to traditional methods
- Diminishment the rate of encounturing to dry wells(absolute failure) up to 80%
- When combined with some geophysical methods, it can decrease the risks(failure, dry well) of exploration studies up to 10%. On the other hand, this method can be hired for quality(gravity) estimation of the reservoirs without research wells
